Formed through the merger of NuVox Communications and NewSouth Communications in mid-2004, NuVox has served business customers since 1997.

NuVox Communications was created through the merger of Greenville, SC’s TriVergent Communications and St. Louis-based Gabriel Communications in 2000. Like NewSouth, NuVox had a fully deployed network of Nortel voice switches and Cisco data switches serving its ten-state footprint throughout the Southeast and Midwest. NuVox now offers service in 16 states across the Midwest and Southeast.
